The visualizations are for an unsteady dataset called dynamic vortices.
The visualization on the left was generated using enhanced-LIC for
instantaneous streamlines and
the visualization on the right was generated using our PLIC method.
Note that for enhanced-LIC there is no animation along the streamlines.
PLIC however shows texture advection along the streamlines. Furthermore,
for PLIC the animation is variable speed.
